На пресс-конференции Sony на E3 было объявлено, что Far Cry 3 будет включать не только одиночную кампанию, но и мультиплеер. В игре также будет присутствовать кампания в режиме кооператива, в которую вы сможете играть с 3 друзьями.
Кооператив позволит увидеть остров глазами другого персонажа, делающего все возможное для того, чтобы выжить. Капитан предал свою команду, продав судно пиратам. Выжившие пытаются спасти свою жизнь всеми силами и стремятся к мщению.
Любой игрок, использующий это умение может оживить любого упавшего члена команды. При использования «Reviving» вы получаете столько же очков за командную поддержку как и за «Battlecry». Конечно, если вас убили, то вы можете дождаться, когда вас оживит напарник по команде. Так же другие игроки могут сигнализировать умершему, что они уже на пути, чтобы оживить его.
Активируется при нажатие на кнопку «T»(по умолчанию). Игрок, который активировал «Battlecry» и члены команды, которые находятся в зоне слышимости получают дополнительные эффекты. Co-op mode gets additional chapters exclusively on the Playstation 3.
In January, Playstation 3 owners will receive an exclusive DLC titled «High Tides». This DLC is adds some more content to the co-op mode in Far Cry 3.
The High Tides DLC will add two new chapters to the co-op mode, Jailbreak and Redemption. Ubisoft claims that these two chapters will «feature the culmination of all the hard work, they’ve implemented in the co-op campaign.»

Yep joys of PS3, I do like a bit of Co-Op and this is the one they «Announced» more like muttered at E3
HA! I sincerely doubt it will stay exclusive to the PS3. They will get more money from the many more XBOX owners by sharing it after a time. No doubt it will be some half-assed filler if it stays only on PS3. As an apology for the drama to come when PS3 owners discover that, like Skyrim, their poorly designed console cannot handle the game. Not that I’m even playing CO-OP for any reason but to get the achievements. SP is the main focus and I look forward to DLC for that.

It’s clearly that you have no idea what you are talking about.
The PS3 design made the Skyrim PORT not work properly. You see, Skyrim was designed on the XBOX and ported to your lesser console for more money. I guess if this DLC stays PS3 exclusive I can understand why. Take pity on the fools who purchased that console and all.
Will this be a free DLC for people who bought the Insane Edition?
In reference to th ps3 argument going on above, Bethesda along with other companies have said the ps3 is notoriously difficult to program for. But I hope you guys get a good dlc I wish it was coming to the 360, even if it is bad more far cry is a plus in my opinion.
This really disappoints me. I play xbox and sure i guess i am a fanboy but thats not why i am disappointed. «game changers» or dlc that adds content to the game that amounts to more than a few maps or weapons should not be exclusives. It’s like saying here enjoy our game but you wont get the extra missions, or expansions, etc. because you are too poor to own both consoles. Sure make new guns exclusive for all i care. But something like this makes me sad because now i wont be able to play these new missions because i play on xbox. Yeah yeah i know we have a lot of exclusives too and inadvertent exclusives (looking at you skyrim) and i truly believe they should not be. Hopefully they do release this dlc later for all pc and xbox. I’m willing to wait
