«Account locked due to suspicious activity»
So I’m trying to log onto my battle.net account, and I get the above error. I haven’t been hacked (my characters, gold and items according to Armory are all fine) and I really have no idea what this is about. Maybe because it wants me to change my password? It also says about an email supposedly sent to me, but I haven’t received anything.
EDIT: I reset my password and apparently everything is all fine. But why the hell did I receive this in the first place?
this happened to my when i logged into my account on another pc with another ip, I had to change my password.
and the same thing again after i logged in on my usual pc.
I only logged in on my private PC.
Possibly. Although I took a break from wow in the beginning of January.
Blizzard won’t say what the exact criteria for this lock are. I assume to keep «hackers» guessing. Though judging from the number of people still whining about their accounts being hacked, this is already a failed experiment. If only they could stop wasting everyone’s time with it. In the meantime you just need to call the phone number they give or whatever, I forget exactly. You might even be able to change your PW without doing that. I don’t know.
Not to get too far off topic but the gawker thing made me laugh a little. People foolish enough to use the same login info on WoW and other websites deserve what they get IMO.

There would have to be more than that, I’ve had a dynamic IP for years and have never been flagged for suspicious activity, I’ve logged on from my house in Texas, my dorm in Indiana, my friend’s house in New Jersey, and hotels in Illinois and Arkansas. I would think as long as you aren’t logging in from say California and then ten minutes later logging in from Florida, it shouldn’t be flagged, at least not just because of IP address. I’m not sure what exactly Blizz uses, and I’m sure IP is used somehow, but it can’t be the only thing.

sound like you used something illegal or got into RMT. or strange error cuz of steam, I never got something like this
Don’t always be so hasty into replying with such a generic response. Just because some people are having account issues and the locked error message. Doesn’t automatically mean they did something illegal or RMT.

As promised I am posting my reply I got back from Ncsoft. My account has been completely restored. Kudos to Ncsoft support.

Btw. is it same account for Guild Wars 2? Notice same game in support page.. Cuz i can log in to that without any problems

Кажется, это ты не разбираешься в самой сути ситуации. Еще ничего официально объявлено не было на счет блока СНГ. Данная страница уже давно существует.

Был официальный анонс закрытия доступа на сервера. (то что MXM как игра не попала(попала) в список закрытых игр, так она еще не вышла даже) Давай еще тут на законодательном уровне закроем. В этой теме уже большинство людей имеют доступ и не составляет особого труда попасть на сервер.
Общий блок связан с тем что у СНГ свой издатель INNOVA и наверняка именно она выступает в качестве «а давайте закроем доступ», почему мне это приходится объяснять тебе?
Мне кажется что я уже повторять одно и то же начал, поэтому выпиливаюсь из темы.
Он локализует MxM? У него есть Wildstar? В Guild Wars у нас нет локализации, однако, мы играть можем.
В итоге доступ для Guild Wars 2 открыли. Что тут мешает это сделать?
Они еще никому пока по этому поводу внятно не ответили. Мы тоже направляли официальное письмо, ответа нет.

С моба это не прокатит. Контингент не тот. У MxM есть конкуренты в лице Heroes Of The Storm, Battleride и подобного.
