Quick Conversion Of ESP To ESL Using The Creation Kit / Быстрое преобразование ESP в ESL с помощью Creation Kit

Это не мод и не инструмент. В игру ничего не добавляется, и в игре ничего не меняется.
Это всего-лишь маленький и простой туториал.

Порядок работы.
Шаг первый. Откройте Creation Kit.Нажмите «File», и в выпадающем меню выберите «Data».
Шаг второй. В окошке «Data» найдите нужный Вам плагин, выберите его и сделайте активным, нажав «Set as Active File».Выбранный esp бкдет отмечен флажком.
Нажмите «OK», и дождитесь окончания загрузки плагина (скорость загрузки зависит от мощности Вашего компьютера).
Совет:
Держите открытыми окно Plugins в NMM и папку Data. Это позволит Вам быстро активировать полученные esl, и удалять уже ненужные esp, что особенно удобно
при преобразовании большого количества плагинов.

Шаг третий. Снова нажмите «File», и в выпадающем меню выберите «Compact File Forms IDs», затем «Yes» для подтверждения.
Появится сообщение «Done» с новым присвоенным номером ID активного файла. Нажмите «OK».

Шаг четвёртый. Ещё раз нажмите «File», и в выпадающем меню выберите «Convert Active File to Light Master». Для подтверждения нажмите «Yes». На этом работа в СК закончена.
Шаг пятый. Откройте Ваш мод-менеджер, и активируйте в нём полученный esl-файл, а в папке Data удалите исходный esp.

Вот, собственно, и всё. Но тем не менее, прочитайте следующие предупреждения.

Предупреждения.
— не конвертируйте esp больших модов. Помните об ограничении в 4000 форм для esl;
— не конвертируйте esp, к которым привязаны другие плагины;
— не конвертируйте esp, если в порядке загрузки он должен находиться НИЖЕ другого esp.Плагин esl будет добавлен ВЫШЕ других плагинов esp, что может испортить игру.
— Обязательно закрывайте СК после каждого преобразования. Это необходимость связана с тем, что оставаясь открытым СК иногда выделяет Skyrim.esm как активный файл.
В окне «Data» можно снять с него метку активного файла, однако он может оставаться активным в фоновом режиме. А это может привести к нежелательным последствиям при
выполнении нового преобразования, так как в новый esl могут быть записаны не верные ID форм, что вызовет збой при загрузке игры.

Запуск Клуба и новый формат файлов Bethesda

На фоне новостей об открытии Creation Club для Fallout 4 и Skyrim мимо прошла новость о поддержки нового формата файлов у Bethesda Games Studios.

Чтобы пересохранить .esp в .esl, необходимо загрузить .esp, а затем выбрать «File» —> «Convert Active File to Light Master«.

Очевидно, что этот формат был создан специально для Клуба творчества, чтобы нельзя было вносить правки в модификацию. И сам теперь Клуб (пока что для Fallout 4, Skyrim будет позднее) доступен не только пользователям PC, но и владельцам PlayStation 4 и Xbox One. Однако как и в прошлый раз во время запуска Мастерской с платными модами в Steam, коллекция официальных материалов невероятно скудна. На данный момент игрокам доступны силовая броня «Хеллфайр», прототип карабина Гаусса и китайская маскирующая броня. Вы даже сможете надеть скафандр, созданный по мотивам Prey или проскакать галопом по Пустоши в силовой броне, которая заставит вас вспомнить о Лютике.

И глядя на этот список материалов, становится не очень ясно, к чему был вообще запущен этот Клуб, не поторопилась ли студия с запуском? Разумеется, более серьезные и качественные плагины появятся позже, но базовый стартовый набор выглядит и правда удручающе.

Also, before converting an esp to esl, check where the esp was sitting in NMM’s load order, so that you can place the esp back in its original spot after having to go back to the esp. When having tons of mods, LOOT often keeps the latest added esp plugins at the bottom of the pack. I like to keep the lot where LOOT originally placed them.

This is not a mod as such, in that it doesn’t add anything to the game. This is just a simple and small tutorial. Simple because it takes just a few clicks. Small because there’s not much to it.

The only thing you do need in this case is the Creation Kit. And some patience. Plus, some common sense. The former can be obtained through going to the Bethesda Dashboard page and logging into your acount or make one. Then you can download the Bethesda Launcher to download and install the CK. For patience and common sense, you’re on your own.

Once you’ve installed the Creation Kit, here’s the steps to follow:

Step One:
— Open the CK, hit «File» in the top toolbar and select «Data» from the roll-out menu. Wait for the CK to finish.

Step Two:
— In the Data menu that opened in a small window, scroll through the list with plugins to the one you want to convert, select it and hit «Set as Active File». The selected esp will get its box ticked in the Data menu list. Click «OK» and wait for the action to finish (This is the «patience» part, depending on how fast your computer is).

Tip:
Keep NMM open on its Plugins tab and also keep the Fallout 4/Data folder open. Then you can activate the esl in NMM and in one go immediately get rid of the converted esp from the data folder. Keeps you from getting headaches when having converted ten or more plugins in a row and forgot which ones.

Once the CK is done, an at first alarming looking «Warnings» menu will pop up, telling you there’s a whole bunch of errors (471, to be precise). You can safely ignore these warnings and continue on.

Step Three:
— Hit «File» again in the top toolbar and now select «Compact File Forms IDs» from the pop-up menu and then select «Yes» in the Confirm Box * that pops up. A «Done» message will appear with the active file form’s I.D. number. Just click «OK».

*Attention!

As is mentioned in the Confirm Box, the conversion changes the Form IDs that were in the original esp. As such, the game will see the esl as a new file and mods that place objects like weapons into the world and that you have retrieved will no longer be in your inventory and will have to be retrieved again. No harm will be done, but it’s always better to use converted plugins on a new playthrough.

Step Four:
— Hit «File» again and now select «Convert Active File to Light Master» from the pop-up menu. In the confirm box that pops up, hit «OK» and you are done.

Step Five:
— Open your Mod Manager, and activate the new esl file, then open your game’s data folder and throw the esp of the mod you just converted in the waste bin.

Voilà. Easy as pie. However, please do read and heed the warning that is next.

This guide works for Fallout 4 and Skyrim Special Edition.
This is a detailed step by step guide anyone can use to simply set the ESL flag on an existing mod plugin to free up a load order slot. This allows the most compatibility as it leaves the file named as original so mods that use it as a master in any way will continue to function. It also makes it so that existing saves will not be damaged.

* Fallout 4VR and SkyrimVR do not support ESL flagged files.
