Since setting your «online mod = false», it is a big risk that you do play with strangers so your server would get hacked, so it is recommended just to play with people you know when doing offline mode.
I just got this error and its not my server and this never happend befor until now.
I am using bukkit by the way with some plug-ins.
Just has this issue today.
My minecraft server is being hosted by MultiMinecraft but I have been administrating it and keeping the plugins up to date myself.
I don’t think people say whether or not they are hosting themselves or they are paying for the service often enough and I get confused on stuff I can fix vs. stuff I can’t. All of this is besides the point though.
To fix this issue I updated Craftbukkit to a newer version.
I was running the most recent DEV build of craftbukkit for 1.5.1. and after updating to an even more recent version the problem is gone.
