PS: Для AL10 используем китайское TWRP, а для возврата китайское сток рекавери
Установить через TWRP файл для вашей версии прошивки соответственно, рут не нужен.

1) Для перехода с русской прошивки С10B100 на европу С432В102, прошей АРР файл из папки «2-vendor/dload/UPDATE.APP», архив с европейской прошивкой,
2) Потом прошейте, основной файл АРР из папки «1-main/dload/UPDATE.APP»
3) Затем файл по пути «1-main/dload/hw/eu/update_data_hw_eu.app» переименовать в UPDATE.APP и прошить
У кого не шьется вендор, смотри те инструкцию для CN(RU)-EU.
RU(EU)-CN (обязательно проверте статус разблокировки загрузчика и заводской разблокровки)
1) Ставим через ТВРП файл локации.zip, после установки жмем перезагрузку.
2) Аппарат не сможет подгрузить систему, сам перезагрузиться и запустит сток рекавери, произойдет сброс до заводских, жмешь кнопку SHUTDOWN
3) Кидаем на карточку папку dload, с UPDATE.APP файлом прошивкой от региона-CN (встанет NEM-UL10C00В153), вставляем карту в выключенный телефон, делаем FORCED UPGRADE, все.
CN(EU)-RU (обязательно проверте статус разблокировки загрузчика, и заводской разблокровки для НЕ КИТАЙСКИХ ТЕЛЕФОНОВ)
1) Ставим через ТВРП файл локации.zip, после установки жмем перезагрузку.

I have a problem with my Honor 7X L21.
Because online update dose not work for this model I decided to updated my smartphone offline.
I downloaded Oreo update file
Unlock my phone
install twrp
update phone
every thing is going well until here
then I decided to root my phone but I saw there is no twrp on my phone
I search and I found a thread here that show how install twrp with adb use recovery ramdisk.
I install twrp on recovery ramdisk and try to root my phone. its OK but when my phone want to start its stuck on google page «just a sec. »
I boot my device on twrp and I did factory reset but the problem was still exist.
then I decided to flash update again.
I copy update file on SD card and wright code on twrp
but at the end when I reboot the recovery, twrp except stock recovery came up and my stock recovery was gone.
I reboot the system but Its loop on this page that says:
ERROR MODE
Attention!
Please update system again.
Error!
Func NO : 11 (recovery image)
Error NO : 2 (load failed!)
Please help me.

Doing the update second time is fine, and best way to restore full stock. But you needed to use Oreo version of no-check recovery and the Oreo partition to flash it to.
So if still able to get into twrp, can try with correct no-check recovery and correct partition it’s flashed to.

But I try to extract update.app (oreo version) but its failed! huawei update extractor cant open it and 7zip cant extract it with (unexpected error. )!
And unfortunately my TWRP dos not work anymore

after all it’s works to me to bypass google account verification

i solve with re-flash system from this
fastboot flash system system.img
fastboot flash recovery_ramdisk complete_twrp_ramdisk.img
and voila my problem solved..

Finally I flashed my phone and I got the system installed.
But now my phones IMEI is lost. and I cant put sim on it.
what should I do now.

I think when you tried to install the oreo update for second time, you followed same tutorial as the first time. And that made you problem worse. The tutorial has you flash no-check recovery to 2 partition by block number. 22 & 29. On nougat that is «recovery» and «recovery2». On Oreo partion table it is «reserved2» & «erecovery_vendor»

in summery. because i have been going back and forth in multiple different groups, multiple problem, i cant remember it all.
you have broken system, from failed root attempt, followed by failed update.
device condition is as follows.
—system not booting
—stock recovery loads
—fastboot/bootloader loads, but is in frp lock status
options are limited, at best.
I think «dload» method with service rom is best.
other option is maybe paid service like dc-unlock. But I can recall some note on there service about frp-unlock, that can only be used on device with working system. (of course if was working system, wouldn’t need dc-unlock)

what does it show for version?
If is all stock you should be able to go into deveolper options and enable «oem unlock». If it is greyed out and cannot switch it. Try First to remove google account (all accounts ). and reboot. See if can change then. If not, try Second to do «fastboot oem relock [enter your bootloader code here]
after relock and rebooted oem switch should be enabled again.
****RELOCK IS ONLY ADVISED IF 100% STOCK ROM****
otherwise relock could make more trouble.
Still not sure how to get IMEI back even if unlocked frp though.

I’m so sorry for my posts, it’s because I don’t have a stable connection and I can’t see notification of my thread.
I gave my phone to friend an he fix IMEI (I don’t know how)
But OEM is steel lock.
I think he did it with using special box.

При любом включении выдает ошибку: ERROR MODE. Attention! Please update system again. Error! Func NO : 20 (flash cert check). Error : 1 (flash device replace illegal).
Так же выдает данную ошибку в Recovery. Но комп его видит. Через TESTPOINT тоже видит.
Не помогло только Board прошивкой удалил imei. Проблема осталась!

make sure you know what you are doing before flashing.
for example. on oreo the boot and recovery share one kernel image. SO if kernel is messed up you will not be able to boot «boot» or «recovery»

I have every system file for the BND-L34. I have been using the multi tool and plain old terminal. Nothing was working. As soon as I saw your comment about how Magisk update may patch to the kernel, I remembered that was the last function I did before it stopped working.

if you were on oreo. then there is not a boot.img, instaed there is seperate ramdisk.img and kernel.img.
i have all the files already extracted for oreo and a backup from nougat as well.

Well ill be lying if I say I know what im doing haha. I imagine updating the magisk overwrote something it shouldnt have and i broke the phone and now im trying to write back what i wrote with your help. So I downloaded the kernel for oreo in the link you had and now the error page is gone and I even get the RRO booting animation but at the end it just restarts and then boots me to Huawei eRecovery.
So I dont know much but im guessing magisk maybe rewrote something else that doesn’t let me boot? Is there a possibility to re-install magisk through adb? I still have the Magisk_v16.zip one I downloaded specifically for my phone.
If not then how could I just make the phone work again even if it means going back to emui 8.0 (even though i would pref if i could just reinstall the same or any other treble rom)?

I am in this same boat too, after a magisk update my error mode started.
After you helped me get past the boot/recovery errors, I have been getting the boot loops as well. They are just under 2 min apart ( I have been timing it). I can get through the new phone startup then reboots. Then phone starts I can log in to any os I install (even complete stock and safe mode) and just under 2 min it will reboot.
I have installed the stock recovery to Ramdisk_recovery and completed the factory reset and still loops at just under 2 min. The phone will stay in any recovery without looping. Only loops once a system image is loaded.
I have twrp and two different backups, both will fail because of modem_fw and if I exclude it the restore will complete but the backups will never get past the device is not trusted page.
I am wondering if I will need to do a rollback to nougat then let the device do the Oreo update OTA, but I cannot find a rollback image for this device.

I flashed ramdisk again and the boot loop was gone, not sure if i flashed the wrong one before so it got me there. Anyway it turns out i did had TWRP recovery installed still it just couldnt access it by pressing the regular keys (not sure if it was because i was using this one that is supposed to be for huawei devices (made specifically for mate 9 I think).
Anyway I said screw it after getting into twrp so I followed crayonicle’s guide to getting back to stock Emui and so now im back to stock emui 8.0 but im still planing to soon flash phhusson’s aosp 8.1 rom anyway thanks for all the help i couldn’t have made it without it!

Do you have a Honor 7x or MATE SE? I have the Mate SE (L34, USA) and downloaded the official L34 Emui 8.0 ROM zip here now I dont know why would that rom be incompatible with Honor 7x since is basically the same phone so long is on the same region I suppose is fine. After that i just followed crayonicle’s guide to getting back to stock Emui.
If for some reason you cant do that then try re-intalling Magisk to other versions i saw this thread that described the problems we had supposedly being fixed by installing Magisk 16.4, I tried re-installing the v16 one and my phone felt that it almost was going to get back to life (the booting stayed a lot longer but then it just got stuck there so). Well thats it all i have to report I hope is of use to you.

I have the mate and thank you, the HuRUpdater worked with the zip files I already had. I changed the names to match the ones it said and everything was fixed. No loops and baseband imei are back.
