Where to Find a Nether Fortress

In Minecraft, a Nether Fortress is a structure that spawns naturally in the game. It looks like a giant castle made out of nether bricks and is only found in the Nether. There can be many Nether Fortresses that spawn in the Nether.

Here is a picture of what a Nether Fortress looks like with Night Vision:

The outside of the Nether Fortress is made from nether brick. The Fortress is made up of a series of bridges and is suspended by large pillars as it towers above the lava below.

Quite often, a Nether Fortress will spawn partially inside of netherrack. This can sometimes make it difficult to find the fortress.

TIP: Try using the /locate command to quickly find a Nether Fortress!

Types of the Nether Fossils

There are 14 different types of Nether Fossils that you can find in the Soul Sand Valley. All of these fossils are made out of bone blocks and vary in size from simple ribs made out of 5 bone blocks up to more complex ribcage structures made out of 21 bone blocks.

Inside the Nether Fortress

Inside the Nether Fortress, you will find many bridges, corridors, and rooms to explore.

Chests

Look for chests to open in the various corridors. If you are lucky, you might find a few chests in the Nether Fortress.

These chests may contain gold ingot, iron ingot, obsidian, horse armor, saddles, and name tags.

Blaze Spawner

Next, try to find the Blaze spawner. Within the Nether Fortress, there are special platforms with monster spawners that spawn Blazes.

Если с помощью анализатора вы нашли ДНК каких-либо живностей — в культиваторе вы можете их вырастить.
Как пользоваться: Просто поместите ДНК и какие-либо био ископаемые в культиватор и он будет пытаться восстановить существо с использованием био-окаменелостей,сырой рыбы, свиной отбивной, и др. в качестве основы.

Внимание! Иногда тем кого вы пытаетесь восстановить это не нравится, и они могут проявить вспышку агрессии начав атаковать вас!

5. Archeology workbench (Археологический верстак)

Используется для восстановления поломанных мечей.

6. Order Drum (барабан)

Барабаны используются для управления динозаврами. В зависимости от того, чем вы по нему бьете динозавры будут идти в какую-либо сторону.

The Fossils and Archeology mod adds a wide variety of blocks to Minecraft. These blocks can be crafted or occur naturally in the world. Amber Ore can only be obtained through Creative Mode.

NATURALLY SPAWNING BLOCKS

These blocks occur naturally in the world as ores or in tar pits. Fossils and permafrost are used in creating prehistoric creatures, while tar and volcanic rock are just for decoration. Iced stone has no use, as it drops cobblestone when mined.

MACHINES

A time-machine (center) surrounded by many different Fossils and Archeology blocks.

«Machine» is a word that loosely refers to any blocks that can be used to perform an action, like a crafting table or a furnace. Fossils and Archeology Revival adds several machines that are vital to the creature-reviving and relic-restoring processes of the mod.

ARCHEOLOGY BLOCKS

There are quite a few blocks that the player can come across during their archeological adventures. Some are crafted and repaired by the player, but others are rare and only occur in structures or other dimensions.

BUILDING BLOCKS

A fan-built structure that uses palaeoraphe stairs as a roof.

With so many mobs that need enclosures and different structures that can be found, the mod requires a few extra building blocks than what are provided in vanilla Minecraft. Most of these blocks are crafted out of blocks mentioned above and are purely for decoration; however, dense sand and reinforced glass were added in order to contain dinosaurs that can break blocks without forcing the player to use unsightly iron blocks.

DROPS

There are three blocks in this mod that are «drops.» One is a true drop from a block, and the other two are «placed» by mobs.

Generation [ ]

Fossils randomly generate y-coordinates 40 to 49 underground in the Overworld (deserts, swamps, and their variants). Each chunk has a 1 ⁄₆₄ chance to generate a fossil. They may generate as one of the four variants of skull or one of the four variants of spine.

Fossils first generate the pure-bone block fossil with a structure integrity of 0.9, meaning 10% of blocks are replaced by structure voids, leaving 90% bone blocks. Next, the coal fossil generates with a structure integrity of 0.1, with 90% of the fossil blocks are replaced by voids, leaving 10% coal. The locations of coal blocks do not always correspond with the voids generated in the bone fossil, so the resulting combination of both generations combine to make an incomplete fossil structure composed of bone blocks, coal, and structure voids.
